Heroes seems like it will be an interesting show, though it borrows from X-Men.

Jon probably won't like it : "What's the point?" (He abhors Lost because it is a show built on nothing. When I countered that Seinfeld is a show about nothing, he retorted that at least it's about finding humor in everyday occurences. Contrast that with an island of lost passengers whose story seems to have taken a dive down a rabbit hole just to keep the show going).

I was quite excited about Heroes, and I really enjoyed it last night. The only story I'm not thrilled with is the mother who sees a reflection or something like that. Weird...

As for Lost, I must admit I am entranced by it. I totally understand his complaint about it being "pointless," but I think a lot of literature, film, and general pop culture is intended as pure entertainment. Mystery stories: pointless. Heroes: pointless. Seinfeld: pointless and abhorrent.

Heroes: Needs to pick up the pace.

That is exactly what I told Abbi last night! Way too many characters for a one hour slot.
